Schematic is not totally necessary; the two channels are identical with the same topology, just most to comparate it for burned devices.
Example: two NPN transistors for CH1, two for CH2

one npn driver for CH1, the same for CH2

My rockford fosgate T1 amp blew a fuse and now protection is on

Chances are that more than a fuse went. I would follow (internally) the path of the wires from the speaker you mentioned - inside the amp. This should bring you out to the main amp. I think you will find that whatever powers that channel is faulty.

Carlsbro Bass Reactor 400 bass amp - power section dead

• Could be drive transistor , output transistor or both on the main amp.

But check for power supply and in the preamps also.

• A signal tracer will come in handy when troubleshooting these kind

of symptoms.

• Measure supply voltages,

• Check offset voltage

• Check idling current

Isolate , and trace afterwards.

• Schematic is really needed when there are burnt and unrecognizable

component. But one can use similar schematics to analyze circuit

problem.

I have acquired a CE2000 that has a dead channel. What is the most common items that go bad affecting one channel only? Also, Are schematics available?

If you turn up the faulty channel and you can hear nothing, then it could be the pre-amp that's gone, otherwise it could be the power amp. The most common cause is a faulty output transistor. It will be open circuit, not short as that would blow the fuse. Though some amps do have a fuse for each channel. The good news is that the other channel is the same as the bad one. So all readings taken with a multimeter should be the same. So if you find a bad/wrong reading IE one that doesn't match the good channel, you have found the source of the trouble.

I have an audiolab 8000p power amplifier one channel's dead. \r\n i measured all the voltages etc i can officially say that the output transistors arent on. 0V across them and also heatsinks are dead cold....

Hi
I had the same problem & found a solution that might solve yours, too.
The protection relays are **** quality. One on mine (left channel) got stuck and refuses to close although it gets a signal. I replaced both relays with two OMRON G2R-1 DC 24V 5PIN ones and now everything is back to normal.

Specs are here:http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/Doc/S...nica_space.pdf

Basically this is a 6.5" mid (7" outer diameter including the ring for the grill) with a front-mount neo motor, composite basket, and a water-resistant paper cone. Mounting depth is 1.5". It's rated at 100w RMS and 200W max.

No output from one ch on old JVC VN-300 audio amp in stereo mode, power stage seems ok as both ch work ok in mono mode.circuit diagram, anyone?

The stereo/mono switch in most amps mearly feeds one channel to both channals when in mono. However it does mean that the Power Transistors (or whatever does the main output) is working on both channels. Therefore the dead stage is in the pre-amp part. Remember that the two channels will have the same parts as each other. The advantage is that one will have working parts and the other wont. So you can compare the two channels with voltage tests, using a multimeter.

Not enough Amp?

You should still get sound even with small amps but it would be rather weak. Check first the source of the signal. Test with different sources to be sure. Check for loose connections.

How to bridge a punch 3001 car amp

You can't bridge this amp as it is a mono single channel amp. 2 ohms is the lowest load that can be applied for 300WRMS.
