Was one of the disks a 'drivers and applications' dvd? Usually they come with that.

If not, i'd say get either a blank cd or a thumb drive and either burn the drivers to cd and use that or put them on a thumb drive and transfer them.

If you need help finding them, let me know.

To find specific drivers for this 'puter, you will have to (probably with another machine and usb stick) go to support.dell.com and go to drivers download, input the service tag (should be located on the bottom, or ask ***********) This should show every driver / download available for that particular build.

you need to get drivers. if you don't have them on a disk you'll have to download them on another pc and put them on a usb stick or something similar and then install them on your laptop.

Hi, you can use the windows xp driver from here:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&ServiceTag=&SystemID=INS_PNT_P4M_8600&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=

As long its 32 bit system you are running.
The driver does not exist for windows vista.

You maybe have to find the name for the
wireless adapter in the device manager.

Select network and download the driver.

Hope this will help you.
