Hello, the model number for my Toshiba laptop is : pt900u-04n7lo.
If you find this for me, YOU are my hero.

I think its a toggle ...might be a roller ball...it is in the middle of the keyboard. My friend said a pencil eraser top would do the trick. It didn't.

One more question, the toggle you refer to, is it the one in the middle of the keypad or on the base handrest?

What is the model of your notebook? You can find this on the bottem of the unit. It will look something like this - "PT900U-XXXXXX" After I receive this, I may be able to help you with the part number.

Great! The part number you seek is P000329030, Below is a link to purchase a refurb keyboard. They work just as well as a new one but at less cost. I think a new board will run you between $85-$100 dollars depending on where you go. (My company, C2Solutions, sells it for $84.95 new and free shipping.) When you do get it, it's fairly easy to install the new one. Good Luck and glad to help. Franklin

I search for a driver for my laptop TOSHIBA T9000 MODEL N° PT900E-06QW3-FR

Drivers are dependent on the version of Windows installed. You can download from Toshiba support page but they may only work on XP or older. If you have installed a new OS, try installing XP drivers or search Windows update.

Click here to go to Toshiba driver download page. Drivers are for Tecra 9000.

Re toshiba techra 8000

Some laptops have a touch pad between the keyboard and the edge of the laptop. This works like a mouse except you slide your finger around the pad to move the mouse pointer and the buttons next to the touch pad are the left and right buttons.
Other laptops have a small round button in the middle of the keyboard which is a mini joystick and it is used to move the mouse pointer around, it will have a couple of mouse buttons at the botom edge of the keyboard.
You can connect a normal mouse to your laptop, it is mush easier than using the laptop's touch pad or mini joystick.

Hello, I just received a used Toshiba tecra 9000 laptop and it is missing the "mouse" and I need a part number so I may buy one.

Since the Tecra 9000's mouse is actually the Accupoint that's located within the keyboard, it cannot possible be missing the mouse (unless it's missing the keyboard).
Unless you're missing the Accupoint cap. Only place to order them is from Toshiba Support.

Toshiba tecra 9000 wont start

Blue screens are generally operating system failure. You will need to reinstall your XP home. Format the drive NTFS, instead of FAT32. If you have any problems during or after the reload, then the hard drive is the failure and will need replaced.
