Switching off by itself with out any indications

Some times it get switch off completely and cannot receive calls or messages. Then we need to take out battery and reset to use. 2, 3 times it happened last 3 weeks after purchase.

Traction Off
The IPC illuminates the traction off indicator when the following occurs:
• The electronic brake control module (EBCM) inhibits the traction control system. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination. The traction control system is disabled when the following occurs:
- For Chevrolet only, the shift lever is in FIRST (1) or SECOND (2) gear. The EBCM receives a class 2 message from the powertrain control module (PCM) indicating the gear position.
- For Pontiac and Oldsmobile only, the body control module (BCM) detects that the traction control switch is pressed (signal circuit is low). The EBCM receives a class 2 message from the BCM indicating the switch status.
- The BCM detects that the park brake is engaged (signal circuit is low) and that the engine is on. The EBCM receives a class 2 message from the BCM indicating the park brake status.
- The PCM detects certain malfunctions and is unable to perform torque reduction requests from the EBCM. The EBCM receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating that traction control cannot be performed.
• The EBCM detects a malfunction in the traction control system. The IPC receives class 2 messages from the EBCM requesting illumination of both the service vehicle soon and traction off indicators.
• The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle. The indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.

The esp bas light is on my 2009 dodge 1500 and it won't start

An Electronic Stability Program (ESP)/Brake Assist System (BAS) indicator is standard equipment on all instrument clusters. The ESP/BAS indicator is serviced as a unit with the instrument cluster.
The ESP/BAS indicator gives an indication to the vehicle operator when the Electronic Stability Program (ESP)/Brake Assist System (BAS) has been activated. This indicator is controlled by a transistor on the instrument cluster circuit board based upon cluster programming and electronic messages received by the cluster from the Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) and the Transmission Control Module (TCM) over the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus.
The ESP/BAS indicator Light Emitting Diode (LED) is completely controlled by the instrument cluster logic circuit, and that logic will only allow this indicator to operate when the instrument cluster receives a battery current input on the fused ignition switch output (run-start) circuit. Therefore, the LED will always be OFF when the ignition switch is in any position except ON or START. The LED only illuminates when it is provided a path to ground by the instrument cluster transistor. The instrument cluster will turn ON the ESP/BAS indicator for the following reasons:
  1. Bulb Test- Each time the ignition switch is turned to the ON position the ESP/BAS indicator is illuminated for about four seconds as a bulb test.
  2. ESP/BAS Indicator Lamp-On Message- Each time the cluster receives an electronic ESP/BAS indicator lamp-ON message from the CAB indicating that the ESP/BAS system has been activated, the ESP/BAS indicator will be illuminated. The indicator remains illuminated until the cluster receives a lamp-OFF message from the CAB, or until the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position, whichever occurs first.
  3. ESP Full Off Textual Message- Each time the cluster receives an electronic ESP Full OFF indicator lamp-ON message from the CAB indicating that the ESP/BAS system has been manually disabled, an ESP OFF textual message will appear within the cluster odometer display. The ESP OFF textual message remains displayed until the cluster receives a lamp-OFF message from the CAB, or until the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position, whichever occurs first.
  4. Actuator Test- Each time the cluster is put through the actuator test, the ESP/BAS indicator will be turned ON, then OFF again during the bulb check portion of the test to confirm the functionality of the LED and the cluster control circuitry.
The CAB continually monitors the ESP/BAS circuits and sensors to decide whether the system is in good operating condition and the proper outputs to the components of the system. The CAB then sends the proper lamp-ON or lamp-OFF message to the Electro Mechanical Instrument Cluster (EMIC) (also known as the Cab Compartment Node/CCN).
For proper diagnosis of the ESP/BAS system, the CAB, the TCM, the EMIC, the CAN data bus or the electronic communication related to the ESP/BAS indicator operation a diagnostic scan tool is required. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information.

I have a 2004 cavalier LS. While driving home from work this morning, my trac off light came on, and stayed on. Can you tell me what could possibly be the problem?

You need to take it to a repair shop that knows this system an has a diagnostic tool to scan for codes . These systems are very complex an your average person with out training should not attempt to fix it.

Service 4wd bad accelerator

The FDCM has a code, and for me to be able to correctly diagnose your vehicle..You will need to get that code retrieved by a scantool.\.

The service 4WD indicator gives an indication to the vehicle operator when the Final Drive Control Module (FDCM) has recorded a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) for an electronic transfer case circuit or component malfunction. This indicator is controlled by the instrument cluster logic circuit based upon cluster programming and electronic messages received by the cluster from the FDCM over the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus.

The service 4WD indicator function of the reconfigurable dot matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display unit is completely controlled by the instrument cluster logic circuit, and that logic will only allow this indicator to operate when the instrument cluster receives a battery current input on the fused ignition switch output (run-start) circuit. Therefore, the OLED service 4WD indication will always be OFF when the ignition switch is in any position except ON or START. The instrument cluster will turn ON the service 4WD indicator for the following reasons:

Service 4WD Indicator Lamp-On Message - Each time the cluster receives an electronic service 4WD indicator lamp-ON message from the FDCM, the service 4WD indicator will be illuminated. The indicator remains illuminated for about five seconds, until the cluster receives a lamp-OFF message from the FDCM, until the cluster arbitrator logic determines that another display request has priority, or until the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position, whichever occurs first.

The FDCM continually monitors the electronic transfer case control circuits and transfer case shift motor/mode sensor assembly to determine the condition of the system. The FDCM then sends the proper lamp-ON or lamp-OFF message to the instrument cluster, also known as the Cab Compartment Node (CCN).

For proper diagnosis of the FDCM, the CCN, the CAN data bus or the electronic communication related to service 4WD indicator operation a diagnostic scan tool is required. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information.

call: "Hello, no one is available to take your call. Please leave a message after the tone." You can record your own
personal outgoing greeting. Your recorded greeting must be between two seconds and thirty seconds long.
Press /mute. The system announces the number of new and old messages, then starts to play the
messages unless it has no messages.
Press 5 to stop the announcements or message playback. You will hear intermittent beeps indicating that the
system is in the command waiting mode.
Press 8 to start the recording. The system announces, "Record greeting." Begin recording after the
announcement.
When you finish recording, press 8 again or press 5. You will hear a confirmation tone, and your recorded
greeting plays back for you.


Selecting a Greeting
Once you have recorded a personal greeting, the phone automatically switches to your personal greeting. You can

swicthin off didn solve??!!! then try it remove all,battery,sim,even the memory card...keep it 4 an hour tat way then just pun the battery not the sim n switch it on...then leav of 10 min...again switch off and now switch it on with sim...let i on by itself in the mean time don press nekeys while switching on...
