Question about RIM BlackBerry Bold Smartphone
I had the same exact problem wondering why in the world can I send but not receive?! I even turned off the firewall thinking it had something to do with it but it didn't. I did a bit of digging around on the internet and found a solution. I have a Pearl 8110 and I found this info for the storm and added some minor info in brackets. Just tried and it works ;)
Here you go:
1. Open the Media app.
2. Select a media type (e.g. Music)
3. Press Menu.
4. Select Receive Using Bluetooth.
5. Select Yes. (It will then ask you the location you want to save to but of course by default it will select the proper folder)
6. Select Save. (Transfer will begin

Yes, I also did alot of research and I finally found the secret, its what weysey just explained! This is my first bb and all the other phones that I had in the past, you actually had to accept the file after it was sent to you, in the blackberries you have to accept it before it is sent to you! Hope this make sense....
