Re: not coming on
Does it have a switch that doesn't work? Unplug it and use the blade tool to rotate the whole motor . Turn it several times. Not all are tested and sometimes the brushes aren't seeated. Rotate in direction of normal rotation. Several rimes. Good Luck _Ned_

Dec 21, 2006 - Read the Help! My Cuisinart is Stuck! discussion from the Chowhound food community. ... The lid seems stuck and won't come off. I've tried pressing down,... Make sure all the buttons are in the neutral position. Reply ... In case of clarification- Turn the lid back on before unlocking, then twist off. Reply.
Aug 25, 2009 - Now the blade in the smaller bowl (4 cup) does not come off the bowl.... UNless i take out the 4 cup bowl blade, it doesnt allow me to remove the bowl ... I've used the screwdriver method for years in my shop with nearly 100% ...
that top part is supose to come right off. try a little very hot water to "melt" any tiny bit of food that may have gotten down in there and kind of glued the top on. pour the hot water right on the platic top of spindle then tap on it with wooden spoon to try and break it loose. repeat this at least 3 times and if it doesn't come loose, try using a few drops of rubbing alcohol to unglue the top. worst case try putting a washcloth over the platic top and get a better hold of it with a very careful application of a pair of plyers. take extra care not to squeeze the plyers to tight to avoid cracking the plastic.
It may simply be that the bowl and cover are not completely in position. The bowl must be locked in place with the handle straight to the front, only then can the lid be locked into place. Then the pusher must be be in--it has a part that interlocks with the lid and prevent the motor from starting until it is in position. Hope this helps!
I just did this. I used a screwdriver and some needle-nose pliers to wedge and separate the shaft from the base. Once you've separated it by about 1/2 inch, it will come off easily. I simply used a mallet to install the new one.
On the website they are offering a package where you can get a new blade, but it comes with a bunch of other things. The website is: http://www.buythebullet.com/ and this is the package they offer:

Upgrade your Magic Bullet! You can save even more time and trouble in the kitchen with the Magic Bullet Deluxe package, which includes 2 additional Tall Bullet Cups and 1 additional Short Bullet Cup, plus 3 more Stay-Fresh Re-sealable Lids.
Using the Magic Bullet in our own homes we've found these extra Bullet Cups and Lids come in very handy when the others are being used to store leftovers in the fridge. Plus, you also get 1 extra Cross Blade.

extra one around when the other is in the dishwasher. If you have a

Any of the disc blades require the use of the detachable stem. The official "Fine Grating Disc" (which doesn't normally come supplied with the food processor) is mainly for grating cheese, but the shredder disc that comes supplied with the food processor will do the job for you.
The plastic collar attached to the base of the blender should screw off, but if you have blended a lot of sticky/sugary things in it, it may prevent easy removal. I would pour in a cup of vinegar and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Then dump out the vinegar and try unscrewing the collar. The blade assembly and rubber gasket will come out once the collar is unscrewed. If worse comes to worst, and you end up breaking the plastic collar, replacement collars are available from Cuisinart's website. Have fun!
If you do not have the main dish hooked up correctly it won't come on. I don't know the correct terminology, but there is a lip on the clear cup that slides into the control panel on the left side. It must be a safety major, because if that is not in place it will not work. Hope this helps. Don't throw it away. Deanna
I have been having the same problem. I know on the chopper, it has to be locked in real tight or it won't go on, but right now, I am on line searching as I wanted to use the blender, and I can't get mine on.
