Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
I love this cordless phone but can't find a replacement belt clip for it (I did find a battery online and have replaced the headset as well). But the belt clip, no luck? Any ideas? Or barring that, any suggestions for other good cordless telephones with headsets and belt clips for in-home use?
The model number of the phone is GE 26977GE2A

Hi, a simple way to determine if the problem is in your headset or in your phone itself is to try the headset on another telephone. If you do not have another headset compatable telephone, you can try taking the headset to a local radio shack (or other electronics store) and see if they will test it on another phone for you.

Well if the phone has been bought abroad and being used in India you will face this problem. this is because of the format of transmitting the caller id info being different. In USA it is STF and in India it is DTMF. You need a convertor in the phone line which is DTMF to STF. IF you find onw in Delhi pl let me also know.
