Go to start> control panel > add and remove programs > then when it populates, find the Belkin wireless in the list and click on remove.

I take you have not got the disk..ok you find the program youve downloaded(driver software)
unpack it and double click on the program exe....
if it was a zipped program it will be in c:/unzipped...
start,my computer,c:/(xp)
usually though its a self extracting file and I cant tell you where you have put that...
if youve deleted it youll have to download the file again.

Hi, we have a toshiba S1800-254 computer and need to make it wireless, so we were wondering what card to use what to do with it and where we can we buy one ?

Seeing as how its an older laptop, your best option would be to get a wireless USB G network adapter, it plugs into a USB port on your laptop, then get a wireless G router to match up with your wireless G Network USB adapter. Stick with Belkin if you can since they have been reliable from my own experience. Get a Belkin Wireless G Router and a Belkin wireless G USB Network Adapter. At that point you'll have wireless access and it will run you under $100 dollars.

Need to find wireless mac address for asus Eee pc 900a. Can't join wireless network till I find it.

If you are using windows, click the start button, in XP click run (vista just type in the search bar), type in "cmd", once the command window is up, type in "ipconfig /all"

look for the wireless card and the mac address will be the one with the ":" separating the number/letters

Question

Sure. Right click on "my computer", and open properties at the bottom, then click the hardware tab, then the device manager. Once you're in the device manager, click on the plus sign next to the network connections, here you will see the wireless card. Double click on the wireless card, then in the drivers tab you will see an uninstall button. It will ask you if you want to uninstall this device, click yes, then reboot.

USB

First of all, I recommend you to Uninstall the USB Devices from the Device Manager and reinstall the Chipset Drivers as per the instructions below :
Click on Start and then on Run.
Type devmgmt.msc in the Run Command box and click on OK.
This will open the Device Manager window.
In this, click on the + mark next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers which will display additional USB Entries.
Right click on each of the entry and select Uninstall.
Click on OK if you get any confirmation window. Repeate the same process untill there are no entries left under Universal Serial Bus Controllers in the Device Manager window.
We are done with uninstalling the USB Drivers from the Notebook.

Now, restart the Notebook and close any window which says 'Found new hardware'

Now, download and install the Chipset Driver in your Notebook from the link below :
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/8178/a08/infinst_autol.exe

Save the file in the Notebook and double click to install the Chipset Drivers.
However, if the issue with the USB Ports persists, I recommend you to check again with different devices to confirm if the issue is with the USB Ports of the Notebook itself.
If the Notebook doesnot recognize any of the USB Devices after installing the Chipset Drivers, you may need to get the USB Ports of the Notebook replaced or go with a PCMCIA USB Card.
Hope this helps....
