TV HAS NO PICTURE...Need HELP!

The TV powers up but there is no picture. I have replaced the power supply, Main Logic board and Y-board and yet the problem remains.  I have checked all of the recommended voltages and everything seems to check out.   What else should I do?

I have an LG 47LN522-UB LED TV that stopped working after three years and need help diagnosing a problem with it.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

Samsung PN58C8000 Plasma. Picture changes from full color to a blue tinted picture. Logic board replaced 2yrs ago when TV would not turn on. Inspected all boards, no swollen capacitors.

Hi T Quinn.
Does the TV behaves the same way in all the inputs?
Does the color chances when the TV has been on for a while?
This failure could be in the main board, all the video info gets into the logic board from the main board itself.
I would suggest to check for proper voltages from the power supply to the main board, if all the voltages measure as expected. I would suggest to use a small cooling fan and place it near the main board.
Let me know if you require further assistance..

I have a sony bravia kdl40v2000 lcd tv stays in standby mode with green light on all the time, no picture no sound, suspect capasitor fault on power board, which capasitor need replacing

There are no paticulator capacitors components parts are dying and or leaking in sequences in any forms of numbers on the tv power supply board. It could be any numbers capacitors components anywhere in the tv power supply board could be dying and or leaking.U must have to take tv parts and examine the power supply board carefully for dying and or leaking capacitors components parts.Very easily to spots dying and or leaking capacitors components parts because 90-95% of the times they're alway puffing and or bulges up on to it tops it is looking like it about to be exploded out of it cylender container. If the tv every times u turn it on the tv power the tv LED power light indicator are alway stay on a good solid green color,LED power indicator light never blinks or flashes at all.Mean the tv does not have a tv power supply board problems, mean the tv it have a problems with it the main logic Tuner signal board problems, that is the board where the tv incomming broadcasting signal wire plug into it.Tries those websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish main logic Tuner signal board for the replacement.Because this main Logic Tuner signal board components are all in micro chips and are all in micro surfaces mounted on micro surfaces mounted on components parts by a circuits printed and put it on by machines.

Hi i have a jvc lt-23x475 tv and all i get is sound no picture the on off button doesnt work neither do the volume or channel buttons what can i do to fix it and would it be worth it to fix it and how much...

HI,
Normally when there is sound and no picture there will be problem with the back light inverter board. But in your case not only the picture also you can't be able to adjust the volume, Power or the channel. So fist of all you have to check the power supply board for any budged capacitor. Watch the first picture you can see the budged capcitor. If there is such capcitor replace them and check again. Remember one thing unplug the power cord and leave it for half an hour then only remove the power supply.

If there is no such capacitors then the problem is with the main logic board of your tv. There is no repair possible with the main board. You have to replace the board. You can buy the main board from the authorise servicing centre for jvc. The authorised servicing center will be relable source.

Vizio SV470XVT1A has no backlight. (If I shine a flashlight on the front of the TV I can see the picture, and I still have audio.) I have read the ''LCD Flat Panel TV trouble shooting guide'' and found...

The 24vdc is turn on by the signal from the main logic board, it is not always on, the standby 5vdc is always on. So yes it can be the power supply board is bad, but just to besure we need to find out if it is getting the turn on signal from the main board first.
You can have 24vdc at the inverter board and it will not light up the CCFL until it gets the signal from the main logic board to turn the lamps on (this is the STANDBY condition, the TV is on but the screen in not lit up util it see the video signal).
Send me good clean and clear pictures of the power supply board, [email protected], connectors of the Power supply, bottom side of the board, then I may be able to tell you which pin is a control input pin. Most people will just throwing parts in and hope that they one of the parts will fix the problem. Used Power supply module for this TV is over $100. http://www.google.com/products?rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS282US283&q=delta+DPS-379AP&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=USsxTKn3J6TonQfFlJGEBA&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CCsQrQQwAw

No picture

with most startup issue with this model there usually is a blink code sequence on power led on front of set. regardless of sequence though you would want to isolate problem by disconnecting y main from power supply and check voltages on power supply and if they come up replace the y main and y buffer boards located on left side of tv looking from back and if voltages do not come reconnect y main and disconnect x main and check voltages again and if still not coming up reconnect and verify vs on command on pin 2 of logic interconnect and if 3 volts present replace power supply and if 0 volts present replace ssb

Power Problem

usually blink code on front gives direction but first thing to do would be to determine if surrounding sustain boards are causing draw on power supply by disconnecting them one at a time from power supply. y is on left looking from back and x is on right looking from back. if led goes solid with either board disconnected check supply voltages and if come up and stay up replace that board. if no change then you would need to verify vs on command coming from logic main to power supply. should be labeled on power supply connector and should be 3 volts. if present replace power supply if not present verify if logic main board sitting underneath signal board has one solid and one blinking led on if verifying normal operation and if so replace small signal board

Picture is not coming on samsung spn4235

Remove the Power Supply cable to Y Main board and check the Vs voltage in Power Supply board.
1. Vs voltage is OK, replace the Logic board or Y Main board.
2. Vs voltage is NG, replace the Power Supply board.

Philips 42PF7320A/37 won't power up Led blinks 7 times

This what to do measure from the logic board which is located under the small signal board and have the AV jacks connected to it. If the voltage is 3.1 or close the problem is with the power supply or a boar connected to the power supply. Unplug the set. Disconnect the Y main board first that will be on the left side of the set facing the back. Plug the set back in if the led is solid replace the Y main and the Y upper lower. If still blinking plug the Y main back in and unplug the X main which is on the right side facing the back. If the led is green replace the X main. If the led is still blinking replace the power supply.
But if the volts are 0 the problem is the SSB or the logic board. In that case take the (SSB) small signal board out the set and place 1 jumper on J8003 and another jumper J8004 of the left side of the power supply. Then place 1 jumper on CN2072 of the lower left part of the logic board. Plug the set back in if the set displays a white, blue ect screen replace the SSB. If not and on the logic board you don't have 1 solid blue led and 1 blinking led data is not flowing and change the logic board.
