I have tried the hard reset of the up navigation button and the power on button at the same time (numerous attempts) but the phone's screen is still just white and then turns black. Any other ways to reset the phone?
The only other way to reset your phone is to open it and locate a tiny little battey called cmos,u need to short the little battery out to reset the phone, touch it with a piece of wire and u should see it spark, the cell needs to have power and should be on, thats the tricky part, if it still fails u need to restore ur software and that u need to send in.

IT sounds like a software glitch.
the phone will most likely need a hard reset to repair it.
Sadly this will delete all of the personal data on your phone, and reset the phone to its factory defaults.
To perform a manual Hard Reset, press the Up Navigation key and the (Power) key.
If you haven't already tried it, you may want to try a hard reset. (Warning: the hard reset process will erase all content and settings that you've added to or created on the phone.)
Hard Reset for BlackJack II:
1) Power off the BlackJack II
2) Hold the UP button on the directional pad
3) While holding the UP button, press and hold the Power button
4) When prompted, press the 1 (or 'E') key to continue
5) When prompted, press the 'Y' key to confirm
If this doesn't resolve the audio issue it's probably microphone related and you'll probably want to research replacement options.
