We have had the tv for almost 3 years now and it wont turn on, the weird thing is that we plugged it in to a different outlet and it worked but after being off for a few hours it wouldn't turn on again, so we kept switching it, and it would turn on, well we have ran out of outlets and if you put it back in a outlet that it had previously been in it will still not turn on. Do you think this is a problem with the tv and if so how do we solve it, or do you think this could be an electical issue.

Re: We have a Ilo flatscreen tv and it wont turn on
First, I would leave it unpluggedovernight. Second, test the outlet with a standard light lamp to make sure the outlet works.
Third, if the outlet still works, use a good surge protector and plug your TV in the morning.
If the TV problem still ocurring, you might have to take your TV to a repair shop to diagnose the problem. The sad news is it might cost more that $100.00 for someone to look at it. You'll have to figure out if it worth repairing.

My ilo 27" tv did the same thing (red light on front but would not turn on) and after much frustration looking around on the net I finaly cracked it open. After removing enough screws to remove the back the first thing I saw was the main power board. This board has quite a few capacitors on it and I found 4 of these that had bulging tops. 3 were 1000uf/16volt and 1 was 470uf/16volt. I disconnected all wire connectors from this board and replaced them with parts from radio shack PN 272-1032 and 272-1030. The voltage rating of these are different but ok if larger than the original part. It fired right up when I put it all put back together
I moved and the manual and remote got lost. I bought a ONE FOR ALL remote that has the iLO printed on the add but I can't get the tv to work, I tried all the codes but nothing worked. How can I get a manual from the computer to work this iLO tv, which I am unable to use. Maybe I should have purchased a Sony.
Hey there i just found a site that sells most makes of remotes including the F$%*$%* B$%#% ilo product...head to www.mrremotecontrols.com only thing is that its gonna cost yeah a pretty penny, but since theres really nothing out there to replace junk tv remote looks like were both stuck....
