In the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean up your own files only or all of the files on the computer.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

If the Disk Cleanup Drive Selection dialog box appears, select the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.

Click the Disk Cleanup tab, and then select the check boxes for the files you want to delete.

When you finish selecting the files you want to delete, click OK, and then click Delete files to confirm the operation.

My computer is to slow, I do'nt know what exactly is the problem

Down load CCCleaner from Piriform (it is free) run the cleanup and pay attention to the installation instructions. This should speed up your computer, It could also be a virus, if the cleaner doesn't help, run a virus cleaner such as AVG or malwarebytes. Hope this helps.

I havea Acer aspire 7530 running slow can't download music need HELP

Assuming you don't have a virus, check the amount of free disk space on your primary hard drive.
START>Computer>C drive>Properties. You need to have at least 15% free to be able to do anything meaningful. If your drive is almost full, you must delete files and then run Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter. (START>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup and then Disk Defragmenter) Depending upon the size of your Hard Drive this may take a while.
Make sure that your Virus Protection software is up to date. If you don't have a Virus Checker, try Hitman.com and try the free download.
Your system should perform better now. After you've removed the files and done the Disk Defragmenter, let me know if this solve some of the problem. There are other things we can try, but the Disk nearing capacity is the normal issue.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

My cd-writer/dvd-rome combo doesnt work. The computor keeps telling me to put a disc in, i do, but it doesnt see the disc. Is there something I can download that will fix that?

Hello
Sounds like you need a driver or some burning software. If you know the manufacturer of your dvd go to there website and download and install the drivers for your model.

Also nero has free burning software that should also fix this problem.

Anti Virus

Here is what I would do.

First I would start off by downloading the free trial of ESET NOD32 Anti-Virus. Afterward I would scan my system (In-Depth Scan) with the free trial of NOD32 (It doesn't use a lot of system resources). Next I would download the free version of Ad-Aware 2008. After the anti-virus scan finished I would scan my system with Ad-Aware (Full Scan). Next I would download and install Spybot Search & Destroy. After Ad-Aware finishes scanning I would start a scan with Spybot. Next I would download and install AVG Anti-Rootkit Free. After Spybot finishes scanning I would run an in-depth search on all hard-drives with the use of AVG Anti-Rootkit Free.

If that doesn't whack it, fighting this thing might not be worth it. Reinstall the windows operating system after you back up any files which you absolutely HAVE to keep.

Slow start computor

I think Vista might be a bit too beefy an operating system for your PC. If you dont have 1gb RAM minimum its just not going to be fast. You would be better off going back to XP.

How Can I Speed Up My Slow PC?

Go to Trend Micro and run Housecall to check your PC for viruses and spyware.
If it is still slow go to Start and click on My Computer. Right click on your C: drive and choose Properties. Run the Disk Cleanup. When that finishes click on the Tools tab and do a Check Disk and Disk Defrag.
