Page Load Error/File Not Found when using Yahoo email

go to the email's home page, such as www.hotmail.com, or www.yahoo.com etc, and refresh the page, by pressing f5. this will reload the page. you can also clear the browser's cache. this means that you delete cookies and temporary internet files

in internet explorer this is done by tooll>internet options>delete browsing history on exit

if you have cleared your browsers cache, and you are still not able to load the email page
there can be some temporary issues with the email page itself. wait and try later

do not try to resolve the issue. wait for some time before trying to connect to yahoo mail.


if the problem persists (unlikely) then access the www.yahoo.com page, and see if you are logged in. You username will be visible somewhere in the top 1 inch on the screen if you are logged in.
If that happens, simply click "log out", refresh the page (press F5) and try after some time

It looks like your computer didn't load the page properly. You could try refreshing the page or maybe your computer doesn't have a good enough internet connection to use Yahoo! You could try closing other applications and try and run Yahoo! Or you could consult your internet providers to ask for more bandwidth if your having this problem often. Hope this helps!

Try switching to classic format in yahoo mail options, seems to have solved the problem for me. The problem seems to be "ad/bluelithium" that shows in the address bar when you are cut off. Must not have gotten to classic yet.

Start by nstalling yahoo messenger 8 or reinstall it if you already got it.

Many of the problems with yahoo messenger are solved by following the steps on this help page ->

Also it has shown that it helps to have internet explorer set to be your default browser.
