Problem for Emerson EWD2202 DVD Player / VCR Combo

VCR runs a few seconds when I insert a tape then shuts off power.

It is an Emerson EWD2202 DVD/VCR combo. Once the power shuts off, the CST IN light flashes. When I turn the power back on, it ejects the tape. I have taken the top off and there are no objects inside.

You have to change the two VCR rubber bands
