Question about Xerox Phaser 8500/DN Printer

The drum heaters are bad. The way to determine that easily is to turn the lights off in the room where the printer is located, Turn the printer on, and look at the right side of the machine. You will see a vented, or sloted area where there is a fan. Watch in there for a minute or two and see if you see a glow inside the machine, I seriously doubt you will. If not, those heat lamps are out. They are simply 2,, 150 watt halogen lamps. You can pick them up at Lowes, Home Deopt etc, anywhere that carries halogen lamps. They take about an hour to an hour 15 minutes to replace. Cost less than $20.
If you determine they are not coming on and want directions on how to replace them. let me know, I will type them out to you.
