Re: Who Do I call ??
Who did you buy the TV from? That is who you need to call. And don't use the number on the Sales receipt. Locate the store on the internet, or using a phone book, and check or use the number given there.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

You have a digit limit set on the cash button. It has been programmed to allow only a small amount to be paid via cash. You need to look up the codes for digit limit (HALO) in your manual and it will guide you through the processes for setting a digit limit on the cash button. If you have lost the manual, one of the users has one listed here: Casio PCR T500 PCR T520 Operation and programming manual PDF
My 2006 model had a problem right after I bought it, it started getting colored splotches all over, so I called panasonic and they said it could not be fixed....since I bought the insurance they sent me my money back for the tv. About 2 weeks later I got a call saying the panasonic company had sent in a repair ticket and made an appointment to come fix my tv....it turned out to be an eeprom reprogramming problem. They fixed it and panasonic paid for it. :-) The tv had a beautiful picture after that up until about October 2013. When you replace the lamp, it's important to clean out the area the lamp goes into. I wipe everything in there with a soft cloth and I also use the crevice tool on the vacuum to vacumm it out really well. Seemed to make a difference to me. But depending on the age of your tv, it could judt be a sign that something is going wrong in the light engine. My tv got darker (I just went in and lightened it in the settings) and after awhile I had to replace the lamp more often and then it started getting tiny blue spots around the perimeter of the screen. The grandkids called it the milky way. It eventually got red vertical lines and they would go away if we turned it off for a few minutes, but after awhile they were here to stay....the light engine was definitely going out. So, now we have a new 65" tv.

I have the same problem with this refrigerator. It looks like Sears Parts Direct sells all the parts for this unit except for the printed circuit board and temperature control switches. I called my local repairman and set up an appointment. He called back to cancel his appointment because he was also unable to get the electronics. Were you able to fix your unit? What did you replace?
Taking the tv to a local repair shop is probably much cheaper than having an engineer call at your house, though some self employed guys don't charge call-out. Try your local classified directory.
It might be as simple as a fuse. You should be able to check that for yourself or engage a handy neighbour. You should be able to download a manual from the manufacturer's website or just try a google search.
Whether it is a lost cause or not is not really predictable.
Hey Artur70, As long as you paid with funds that have an identity associated with them you should be able to go to a best buy store and they should be able to print you up a copy of your receipt. If you paid with a check, cash or gift card finding the receipt is more challenging but can be done by calling 1-888-Best Buy™. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
it is wonderful that lg is replacing the boards, but unfortunately, I don't think that they will provide this service forever. So if anyone reads this after being denied by LG, visit tristatemodule.com and you will be able to purchase any of the circuits in the set for cheaper than you will be able to from LG. I work for Tri State Module as a technician specializing in plasmas. All circuits come with a one year warranty, and I will personally repair all boards
Easy fix. I had the same green dot problem and I removed the front panel (no screws). In the center is a panel that has two screws. Remove them and pull the cover off. There you will find the projection bulb. Do not clean the bulb but instead the base. Use a damp cloth to wipe the dust off the black disk (the base of the projection bulb housing). Apparently the dust through static electricity may cause enough magnetism to distort your picture. Hope this helps.
