XD picture card adaptors storage

By Perkins - usenet poster

Getting a fuji 5000 dig camera ..use xd picture cards ..what bothers me
is that there is no easy adaptor for them and also no easy way of
storing these on portable storage devices(hd) like when you go on
holidays and you do not want to drag your laptop around amd have only
few xd cards with ya ..

Anyone solved this solution in a way of adaptor for xd's and a good
portable storage for them?

Hi

I just bought an X-Drive Pro from these guys,
# .
I had the same problem as I bought an Olympus C-750 and weighted up the
price of another 256mb card as a spare or an X-Drive. The X-Drive II does
not have a reader for the XD Picture cards and I got the X-Drive Pro,
luckily I had a 40gig HDD from a laptop and it was the right dimensions.
Total cost was $181 and it is an MP3 player as well. These people are in
Melbourne and you can pickup.

Hope this helps.

You can find at #. They sell Xd to CF adapter. Buy the
Fuji one since it's cheaper than Olympus.

I just got complaints from other members by putting shop name or link
becuase they thought i'm spamming; in fact, I just helping members. I
hope this link that I mentioned above it's not consider as a spamming.
Also, I hope you can get what you want at centre.net.au for your XD
Card

There is no "way to go" - just look at the cost and ease of use, stuff the
rest. By 2005 your average teething ring for a baby will have more
megapixels.

Most of the current Fuji cameras take CF cards also, just not all types.
Spend a little more and get a CF capable model.
