Question about Washing Machines
I got one problem fixed with the washer..now another one. We pulled a bobbypin out of our pump..now the washer machine makes horrible noises when it spins and the clothes are still wet...We disassembled the whole machine before we knew that the first problem was in the pump..what did we put back together wrong? Only problem during spin.
What did you take off? to remove the pump there are 2 clips. then after removing this there are 2 more clips forget about the screws if you had them. If you had screws one did not fall into the motor did it? Anyway if you had 1/4 inch screws you can toss them. if you removed the clips from the motor and took the motor down did you align the coupler correctly? there is a 3 pronged plastic peice on the motor also there is a 3 pronged plastic peice on the transmission. between the two is a rubber grommit. make sure everything is ligned up. check these things first and let me know.
