Unfortunately, the official answer from Yahoo is that if you forgot your secret questions you will need to create a new account.

You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID or password, go to the Sign-in Problems page.
If you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you need to provide three pieces of information so we can confirm your identity:

• Your birthday
• Your ZIP or postal code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)
• Your alternate email address -Note: You must have access to this email address
• Country code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)

Be sure to provide the same information you gave the last time you registered for a new Yahoo! ID or password or the last time you updated your account.
If you forgot your password, you can create a new one. But first you'll have to provide the following information so we can confirm your identity:

Hello; maybe you forgot password or id,
click the forgot password link or can't access my account on yahoo sign in section..
they will ask few questions you've been provided during your registration like secret questions..
make sure to provide answer to make you retreive/reset or access your account..then follow
instruction from the site..after completion,you can then access your facebook account too.

I assume you have already tried the the Yahoo sign-in wizard, which is used to help retrieve (or reset) passwords. See: https://edit.yahoo.com/forgot

If your password and secret questions yhave been changed. I would suggest going to the sign-in wizard, and select the option for "My account may have been compromised".

there is a link below the user name and password bar on the sign in page of yahoo mail that says "forgot password" click on that link and you would be asked to answer the secret question that you were asked while you were signing up your account.. answer the question and you will be given a new password
