Question about Steinberg Cubase Recording Software Version 4 for Mac and PC CUBASE4 for PC, Mac
I have posted this same question elsewhere by accident on this site!
A DJ has remixed a track of mine and I want to add some overdubs to it. I have imported the file into Cubase Studio 4 onto two audio tracks and set the tempo. However the track and the tempo drift - is there anyway to accurately lock an imported wav file to the Cubase tempo clock to stop drifting?
thanks for your help

You are not the only one with this problem. Cubase is quite a complicate software. If reinstalling does not help we need to have a CLEAN Install on a new OS. If the problem still persist contact the vendor for the product exchange.

you need to render the track. If you push save and select a folder the project is saved to the selected folder. If you render (or export) the track it will be saved as an audio track.
