Question about Toshiba Tecra A8 EZ8511 Notebook
your computer is affected some virus that's why the file is been deleted or gone.
you need to reformat your computer for this matter.
well w/o either an operating system disk or a Recovery disk you will be unable to do so. You will need to get ahold of one of these. If you get an O.S. disk or a Recovery CD you are going to incert the cd restart the computer and as soon as it restarts keep hitting the f10 key till it pops up w/ a screen either 1) asking you to choose a boot media (if so select cd rom) or 2) will say hit any key to boot from Cd ( in this case hit any key!) Then you will follow the on screen prompts as to what you need to do. You will get to an option that will ask you to format the drive, make sure you do so and use the NTFS format (quick version) and then you will go from there. hope this helps
