Question about Dell XPS M1530 Notebook
I have a Dell Studio XPS laptop which i bought it recently but to my greatest disappointment I found that the laptop is not able to detect the wireless networks when I am away for atleast a distance of 10 feet.I contacted the Dell tech support they said the problem is with the router.I am using an Airtel broadband connection.My friends are having the ACER 6920G and HP DV6000 series laptops .They are able to connect comfortably to the router.Moreover my laptop hangs and the keyboard and the mouse does not work and the entire system is stuck and when I restart the system it works fine.I doubt the Dell has given me a faulty product.Please give the solutions if anyone knows the answers ............I am waiting for a fast solution to the problems which I am facing.Any help will be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance.
When you first turn on your laptop press F8 and it will bring you to a menu. Choose "safe mode" and press enter. Hopefully it will accept the keyboard and you can get into safe mode. If you can get into there see if you can move your mouse around. If so and your keyboard responds then its a problem with the OS. Try that and let me know.
