If yes to above. Download Microsoft Virtual PC. You can install and run whatever you like with that.

How to: Dual Boot system with XP & Vista on separate hard drives

If XP where your primary OS this would not be a problem. Since Vista is the Primary you are going to need to get a boot loader that will start before either OS does and use that to choose OS at bootup.

Acer m1610 with double OS (vista + XP)

You need VistaBootPro, which helps you restore the boot loader for Vista. Then you can select Vista and XP from the boot menu.

No support for onboard graphics for demension 2350 installing win 7

Depending on your RAM capacity which is max. 1 GB I doubt whether your integrated graphics will support Win7. Try installing WINXP or VISTA(doubtful) as OS. Else go for a graphics card with inbuilt memory if you want to install Win7.............sodeep

I Want to change my vista os to window xp for my laptop Hp Pavillion dv4 1240 tx.

yes. you can change vista os to window xp. but before the installation make sure does hp provide the driver all of those which your are going to use. for the driver detail log on www.hp.com.
once you make sure about the drivers , then arrange the XP bootable cd . and now try to install xp on your system.

Upgrading the OS Windows XP not possible

Upgrading from OS Windows XP:

you can upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista(ultimate, premium, home, business.......),
you have to buy a Windows Vista CD and install a fresh copy or format.

Some Minimum Requirements:

i) Min 2GB RAM or atleast 1GB RAM(if you have>1GB RAM installation of Windows Vista will not continue)

II) External Graphic Card. for some versions of Windows Vista(to run Aero Interface, special feature only   in some versions of Windows Vista)

NOTE:

"Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor" is a software from Microsoft which you can download from internet, this  can help you determine which features and edition of Windows Vista will run on your computer.

i.e., when u load this software on windows xp it will suggest which upgrade version of windows vista          will suit your system(based on you system configuration. or hardware components.) and then            you can install the upgraded version of windows xp(mostly windows vista home,.........)

Thanking You

Demo problem

Vista is a very demanding OS. Either buy a license or U will have to format UR drive to put XP back on. Vista is NOT an upgrade, it is a 64 bit OS. XP is a 32 bit OS. Like U, I like XP. Been down this road.
