Xerox Workcentre Pro16fx - H4 error code after power outtage

Xerox Workcentre Pro16fx
H4 error message after power outtage.
This happened about four years ago, and the repaiman showed me how to go into TECH Mode, but I have forgotten how to do this.

You shut the machine off then on, Press Clear, auto,clear , auto, then when the lights go out, program it as if you were running 14 copies. press start and that should reset it.
Thats the redish pink clear button and the auto exposure button, Clear, Auto , clear auto, and the display goes blank , enter 14 and start. Dont ask me why I repeated that LOL

Control panel shows "H4"

Solution: Perform a Fault Reset 14
Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.

1. Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
2. Find the button below the word Auto.
3. Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto]

NOTE: All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED Display should go blank. If the lights do not go out, then repeat step 3 until they do. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the pace of the [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] sequence.

4. Press the [10's] key one time and the [1's] key four times to enter '14' in the LED Display, as if you were to make 14 copies.
5. Press the green [Start] button.
6. Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
7. The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
8. If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.

How do i fix an H4 error message?


That code, H4 is a fuser temperature error. You can just replace the fuser 126N00181 yourself.

Xerox pro 215, error H4 please help


H4 is a fuser error....not getting up to temperature.

Press [C] (Clear), press [Image Quality], press [C] (Clear) again, press [Image Quality] again.

If this doesn't bring it back to operations then the fuser lamp needs to be replaced.

Xerox printer xd100


H4 is a power failure code. To reset the error please press in the following order: CLR - AUTO - CLR - AUTO (this puts the unit in tech mode). Enter 14 (as if asking for 14 copies) Press "PRINT" Your unit should reset itself and start working.
