I watched my kids play left for dead ALL day yesterday. i tried to play world tour and got the two overheat rings within a few minutes. the faceplate is off. the console is near a window. I have blown it out with "keyboard" air. I even bought a new power cable. any suggestions?

It isn't a loose GPU, if it was he wouldn't be able to play L4D now would he? I have the same problem and it is really irritating. No one really knows why it happens.

The system is suffering from overheating which caused the solder under the GPU to loose contact with some of the board. We can fix this for you. We have fixed hundreds with the same problem. We are listed on this site.

The guitar hero world tour does not play on my playstatin 2

We had the same problem with Guitar Hero World Tour for PS2. We have an older fat PS2 that would play all of our other games but this one. I tried changing the settings to fast/smooth, changed the diagnostics, still didn't work. Finally, I took The PS2 apart, blew out the dust, cleaned the laser lens with a qtip and rubbing alcohol, dried it gently with a dry q-tip, and the game works!!
