Access http://support.microsoft.com and search for "disable autorun". Follow those instructions before inserting any USB memory-stick into your computer.

This sounds like you have a virus, and there may be a virus on the pen drive that keeps putting itself on your computer everytime to plug it in.

go to http://www.norton.com/nss1 for Norton's Security Scan, or to Trend Micro's Housecall scan http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Run these scans and hopefully they will take care of the virus if that is what it is. Also before you run these scans, Format the Pendrive as it may be infected and plugging it back into the computer when it is still infected will just put he virus back on the computer. There isn't alot of virus information I could find on the multiple "i" folders being created, but it appears that is what it could be. What little information I could find has some long and lengthy steps to remove this virus.

Iiiii is a virus program that transfers to the system through the USB devices. It keeps on hanging the OS at startup because it is pin at startup area of the OS.

Alternnatively, you can remove it by using a software that can bring out all the startup programs. The root of iiiiiiii.exe is in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\XP6880 9. You can simply locate the root and get it deleted completely. Hold shift before deleting. Then empty the recycle bin and restart.

Good Luck

F:\DOMENU.BAT MISSING

Check your startup. This is not a valid OS file. Look on your state menu, depending on your OS or go to msconfig and check the startup options there. On XP, click Start, Run, type in msconfig, press ENTER. Windows 7, click Start, type in msconfig, press ENTER. Windows 8, on the Metro (tile) screen, type in msconfig, press ENTER.

How can i turn on my laptop in normal mode

Normally your can just turn on or restart your computer and it will automatically start to normal mode, however if someone set your computer to start to safemode it will stay that way, to undo that setting follow this steps:
Windows XP: Click start, click run type msconfig and click ok. On the system configuration window click on Boot tab and on the middle part uncheck safeboot then click apply, close and restart.
Windows Vista and Windows 7 Click start, on the search bar type msconfig and press enter. On the system configuration window click on Boot tab and on the middle part uncheck safeboot then click apply, close and restart.
If this didn't work there's a problem with the system file of your computer I suggest you ran a scan using an antivirus software because this kind of problem is usually being cause by a virus infection.

On bootup, adobe air installation damaged

Try first going to start button > Run (search) > type in the text box msconfig When the window comes up, choose selective startup > go to the startup tab and look through the entries for adobe air and uncheck the box. While you are in there, you can uncheck any other program that you don't need to "startup" when windows starts up. The main players in startup are the anti-virus programs, wireless utilities etc. These you want to start. Hit apply and exit out. Reboot later, we have one more stop first.

Now go to control panel > administrator tools > services. Look through the services for Adobe air or something similar. double click on it and it will open a window where you can change the programs settings. You can disable, start, stop etc. If you find the air program here, click on the drop down list and select disable, click apply and ok. Now reboot and see if that clears it up.

I have upgraded my ram fron 1gb to 4gb but my laptop still runs slow. how can i make it faster

What processor is it? There are heaps of things you can do to make it run fast. Don't have lots of things on the desktop, shortcuts are ok, but not files. Defrag it regularly, run virus scans. Go start run type "msconfig"go to startup. Make sure there aren't lots of programs running which aren't needed. Delete your temp folder.

try clearing out startup programs that run in the background if you are using windows xp go to start click on run type in MSCONFIG, look for startup tab then uncheck the items that you don't need usual items that you need to keep on running is just the antivirus program. if you are using windows vista on start search type in MSCONFIG then practially do the same thing see if it stops locking up. hit me back on the results. thanks!

My laptop(os windows xp) is infected with iiiiii.exe virus.

first thing to do is try to install and scan your pc with an antivirus program...if you have one already...update your antivirus program. restart your laptop and press F8 to enter safe mode, in safemode, start a full scan.

when finished, reboot back to normal mode then download CCleaner. Scan you laptop using CCleaner to remove the temp files and fix registry issues, you can also disable the startup programs that you do not need to start automatically in CCleaner.

CCleaner

In Addition, you could also install a antispyware program like Ad-Aware just to make sure.

Hope this helps.

Exception ereaderror

Hello,
This seems to be a service on your computer failing to load during startup. You need to check your start-up programs for this file. To do this, click Start-->Run, type "msconfig". When the dialog windows opens, go to the "Startup" tab. Scroll through the list of applications started everytime you boot the computer. If you find "77301443.exe", disable it by unchecking the box next to its name, and click Ok.
You will be prompted to reboot your computer.
However, before rebooting your computer. It would be a good idea to run any anti-virus or anti-spyware software, clean any viruses or spyware, and then reboot the computer.
When it reboots, check for the application error again. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank You, Raph30
