Question about Sony CCP 1310F Single Dual Cassette Deck
The erase head is not erasing. This could be from a bad electrical circuit or more likely it may just need cleaning. The erase head is the leftmost head and likely has only 2 wires connected to it. if it's not dirty, try to watch that the tape is making good contact with it as the tape passes over the head.
