Question about Pioneer SD-643HD5 64" Rear Projection Television
I was going to take the board in to have the Convergence chips put on it? The board itself cracked. Do I need to replace the whole board. It did not crack in half?
Once the board is cracked it is no longer repairable (even if it's a tiny crack that may not appear to interrupt any connections), and you would have to replace the complete board. Any attempt to repair or continue using a cracked board may cause more damage to the entire unit.
