Re: Work centre 24
there is a 1/8'' streak aprox 3.75 inches apart on the whole print. The
yellow drum was replaced after a yellow streak appeared in all prints.
After the drum was replaced it appears that the printer is printing all
colors in these streak except yellow.
Second problem: After several prints a slight cyan streak appears and
gets worse with each print. These cyan streaks and at a 90 degree angle
to the 1/8'' streaks in the first problem. The cyan streaks are aprox

Re: streaks in prints
What I would do is remove all cartridges, wipe the belt w/clean cloth use an air can to clean the machine, check the drum on each cartridge see if there is something, it could be there was a change in Voltage and it burnt the drums. change 1 more toner cartridge to see if that color goes away, if it does then you will know if the drums are the problems.
I've had a problem w gen toners doing the exact same thing, so I had to OEM and it went away. Good luck>

Check your consumables. Press utility then check consumables. If anything is at the end of life, it needs replaced. It sounds like your drums are not cleaning properly and need to be changed. If they are fairly new, then I would suspect the transfer belt. If you know hoe to get into service mode you can go into test mode. Then run your halftones on each color. If it moves around, its your drums. If it stays in one spot, its your transfer belt. Also you could check your drum units. If they have streaks going across the green drum, like its dirty, then its coming from the drums.
Vertical streaks: Check, which color/s streaks are appearing on print out, remove that cartridge/s check on drum surface for streaks.. if found replace that cartridge/s..check. Horizontal streaks: This problem appears when the cartridge/s image drum not rotating properly. Resit the cartridges properly, print 20nos of blank pages, then check.... replace the cartridge..
Hello sir;The streak line from printing also should be from copy, because the line come from imaging unit, check the meter count if close to or over 50,000 then replace drum and drum blade, it will take care the problem.
The brother printer you need to replace imaging unit( drum unit).
Your yellow problem sounds like a bad yellow developer housing. Take the drum out and look at the developer housing, You will need a flash light to do so. See if the roller is solid yellow. Even if it is there may not be any developer left in the housing.
The Cyan sounds like the drum since it gets worse as it prints.
That can also be caused by the transfer belt cleaner. But that normally is the opposite. It has a rainbow sort of streak and it gets better as the machine runs.
