I want to use my cellphone as a modem for connecting the web. i am told I need the PC suite. How do I download this software?

For connecting your cellphone with the Laptop or PC you need driver with PC suite.
But as you specify that you don't have the driver CD then you may download the driver from the internet by following the simple steps:

But for this you need Internet Connection:

* Install the PC Suite and connect your cellphone with your PC or Laptop using data cable or Bluetooth.

* Now on your PC desktop right click on My computer icon and Select Properties and then Device Manager (You can also access Device Manager from Control Panel).

* Now in the Device manager you found some YELLOW Exclamatory icons search for your mobile device name and right click on it and then select UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE...

It will automatically download the driver now just restart the PC and again connect the Cellphone with the pc it will work now.

Your phone is damaged due to moisture & needs repairs. For downloading operating system, visit the manufacturer's website & download the PC suite. Install the PC suite on your PC. Start the PC suite, connect the cable to usb port of PC, select software upgrade from the menu, connect the other end of the cable to your cellphone as per the instructions on the PC screen & start upgrade. The operating system will be upgraded in your cellphone.

first install the PC suite and connect your mobile with system at first time it installs the needed drivers after installation completes restart your system and then do this to enusre the modem is installed

control panel ---> phone and modem -->> modems

select the installed driver something it named nokia phone modem. select go to properties---> query modem if the process is success. create packet data connection in PC suite, connect and enjoy

Do you have a Data Plan added to your account with your cellular provider? If not, you will need to have one added to tether your phone with your PC.

Also, have you downloaded and installed the USB Modem drivers to your PC?

The download for the PC Suite is in .zip format. You'll need to unzip it to a new folder. (You can create a new folder on your desktop)

After unzipping the file to the new folder, double click on it to open > locate the >>

Start the Phone Tools Program by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.
