The short answer is yes, but there are other factors involved. What is the model number? Based on that , I can get the part numbers and costs as well as indicate whether or not the part is still available.

That means that an internal error had been detected, and now the TV is on protection mode.

To start unplug the power cord for ten minutes, and see if the TV restart.

If it does not try leaving the set unplugged for longer, let say two hours.

If still no luck call the number listed on the user manual, as the TV has an internal fault, and must be repaired by a technician.

Since this is a DLP type set, there is a lamp and ballast involved. When the set shuts down, are there any indicator lights on the front? If so, check the owner's manual for an explanation of their meaning. Typically, the lamp can cause this or the ballast. If either of those are the problem, usually the lights on the front panel will indicate it.

The degaussing circuit has failed. Usually this circuit kicks in either when you turn the set on or off. This clears up any magnetic interference on the CRT. Toshiba sets usually have a 3 legged thermistor that controls this. I suspect that this part is defective. The parts cost for this is under $10. Check around for a servicer that can replace it for you.

Program AV1 with 20695, program TV with 10765, then switch to AV1, press select/mute, enter 933, and press select

This will allow volume and mute controls while in DTV mode and allow power on and off while in TV mode. This worked for me on the RC32 remote control.
