If this is really so, then you should shorten "Clear CMOS" jumper near the battery on your motherboard or even take the battery out for a short time. For detailed instruction how to do that, see your motherboard's manual

Hi,
Dont worry.. Dont search for him. you can easily reset the bios password. Follow below instructions...

  1. Power off the computer and make sure that it is unplugged.
  2. Open up your computer case. You need physical access to the motherboard to complete this procedure.
  3. Find a circular, (mostly) silver metallic object on the motherboard. This is the CMOS battery.
  4. CAREFULLY remove the CMOS battery, avoid touching it with your fingers, and leave it out for about 120 seconds. This will flush the CMOS memory which stores the BIOS password and all other configuration.
  5. Set the battery back into place and power on the computer.
  6. The computer should then warn you that the CMOS configuration could not be found. You can either reconfigure it yourself or restore defaults. Restoring the default configuration should be fine.
Thank you.......

On your motherboard next to the silver battery is a a jumper. Its going to be labeled JP1. This will clear the BIOS Password. There will be a piece of plastic covering pins 1 and 2. What you need to do is move that jumper so it covers pins 2 and 3. Then turn on the system and you should get into the bios.

If you change the jumper and your system doesn't turn on then that means its shorting out the motherboard which is fine. Regardless put the jumper back onto pins 1 and 2 and then turn on the computer and you should get into the BIOS as well.

Let me know how this helps you.

The most common way that we know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the Cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased.

what operating system and type of computer???

I would like reset the password of my d33005 motherboard

Go into the BIOS setup to reset the password. Start by rebooting the system. Before the system starts loading the operating system, the computer will give an opportunity to enter the BIOS setup utility. Usually a screen appears saying to press a key to enter the setup utility; i.e. "Hit DEL to enter Setup". You have to know what key the computer is looking for to get to Setup. DEL in used on the a lot of ASUS machines but you may that to refer to a manual or read the screen just before the operating systems to load. Once you get in, look for something related to security settings. Once it is found under the boot tab. Here is where you can reset the motherboard password. Hope this helps.

Access BIOS

Oh, you can see it in the splash screen. The screen where the 'Compaq' logo shows up has the keys to what goes where. See the bottom of the screen.

See 'Setup' etc. If it doesn't show up (doesn't in mine, as my monitor starts late), then start it up and then reboot. The monitor doesn't switch off here. So, you can see it.

I cant install vista OS on this MBD , by sata HDD

You must enter setup at boot and select the CD/DVD as first boot. Then ensure that the BIOS settings have SATA enabled. When CD/DVD is first boot watch the screen for 'press any key to boot from cd' message is displayed. The boot screen will say how to enter setup. Typical buttons are F2, Delete, F1, F10 -you did not say which manufacturer. OEM trumps mobo maker with BIOS setup.
