Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
My advent is frozen switched it on and there is a black screen that says intel to one side and pheonix in the corner. at the bottom is a grey stripe that says press f2 or f12 nothing happens. there is a blue bar that shows it is 3/4 way through a job but even detaching the power does nothing
Repeatedly tap the F8 key when booting up. This will bring you to a black screen. Chose the option to use the last known good configuration.
please do not forget to rate me.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Your laptop should have been supplied with a Utility CD which contains a copy of the user manual and all the drivers. There is also a copy of the drivers on the laptop itself, you can find it by browsing to the c:\applications\drivers folder. Finally you can download some of them from The Tech Guys website.
The Wireless LAN card uses a Ralink RT72 chipset so if you're struggling to find drivers then the "USB(RT257x/RT2671)" ones on the Ralink site should work - http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php.
Memory Upgrades This laptop has two memory slots. One slot is accessed by removing the cover underneath the laptop (see the "Bottom of Laptop" section below)
