I have installed PSW Software and have the cable connected to my computer and my machine. I have also installed drivers that came with serial port and cable. When I try to transfer it seems to be working on the computer side but the machine gives error. Can not accept...
Does anyone know if there is a difference in a serial port and and I/O serial port. When I bought the cable and serial port the technician told me that was all I needed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My children gave me my machine for Christmas and I would love to be able to do some things for the grandchildren.
Theoretically, yes, it should be all you need. But It has been found
that not all USB/Serial cables work equally well with the PSW. Many
customers have tried several before they found the one that worked with
their machine/computer. If you have a Vista OS, you must have Vista
drivers for the cable. Try going into Advanced settings and reduce the
transmit and receive buffers.
The Baud rate must be set the same on both the machine and the computer. It doesn't matter which rate you choose to use, as long as both are set at the same number. Try each of the 4 settings to see if one of them will work.
Another avenue you might try is to write a design to the Smart Card
media, but I am wondering if you really have the SewWare software or
the PSW software? Can you clarify this, please
I'm sure you will be stitching soon.
This is techcrazy
The machines have a series of sensors that tell the computer how all of the machine components are positioned. so the problem in your machine is due to sensor.which do not get positioned properly to do the stitches.so check out for the sensors and also do check out for the removable memory disks or cartridges so that they do not have any defects.
kindly rate me on the above said solution
