I'm not sure you can actually print the labels from Quickbooks, but can print address labels, etc. to use with Quickbooks invoices, etc. you will actually have to print the labels from within the label software.
Invoices and other forms are built in the Quickbooks software and you can just simply print it on a plain sheet of paper. You can simply click on the print icon on top to print the invoice that you have created.
However, If you want pre-customized company sheets (invoice, envelopes) for your company you can order it directly from Intuit together with your checks.
Open QuickBooks. Then go to File at the top left side of the page. Then scroll down to set up printer. Choose the form you wish to be able to print in QuickBooks and this will take you to a place to choose your default printer. Click the arrow next to the name of the printer it has stored as default and choose your printer (hp photosmart) and then close the window and this will save your choices. Repeat the same procedure for each form name you wish to print in QuickBooks.
Go 'Lists' and then open 'Templates', double click on the product invoice and make sure the invoice is 'Active'. Qbooks saves printer settings for each feature, regardless of which is set as 'default' in Windows...be sure you have the correct printer selected. If the above are set correctly, go to HP's website and download the latest driver for your printer.
Quickbooks generally give problems with every darn printer on the planet. If you are not using the latest quickbook version then try this. save the document on your desktop and then close the original file. Then open the saved file and select the path to print and click on file point to set print area and then click on set to print area click on ok on the dialog box. Then try to print once again and see if it works.....it should if it doesn't call in to HP at 18004746836 and we will be happy to resolve your issue via a remote access session with your computer
When you get to the "Print" window, there should be the area where it says the type of printer. There is also a drop-down arrow. Click on the arrow and highlight your HP printer.
