Problem for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T20 Digital Camera

Recorded files are corrupted

the recorded files can not be played . the error message is file error.

- The files can not be played both in computer and the camera , the error message in comuter is source data format is not recognized.

- I took a bunch of pictures last month, and only now, when looking at the pictures, about 1/3 of them have a blue screen and say "File Error"! Help!! I hadn't uploaded these pics yet and would be very sad to lose them. - dn2521

Try uploading the files to you computer from the camera/
try the stick in another reader
A camera, a card reader on a computer or a processing station

- Take it now to a processing station tjust to be sure.#
Then if all else fails download the following program
www.PC Inspector.com
This is a file rescue program.
Install it [its FREE]
Run it and point it to the card in the camera connected to the computer[Im My computer the card is a new removable drive.
Come back

- A New memory card is always an answer.
However there may be valuable shots on the that need recovery.

Moreover if as 'Apprentice' you have to replace a card several times this does point to a camera fault not a card fault.r

just change ur memory card and it will be fine.i had this problem and i changed my memory card 5 times.now i do not have this problem
