If there is no disc then you can restore it back to factory settings or close to it but that is only if it has been backed up. Click start, accessories, system tools, then system restore. Follow the directions.

You need to re image your hard drive as the OS is now incomplete or corrupt. Try booting from a Vista DVD and choose repair or pressing F8 and choose restore to an earlier time or known good configuration. If that works you will be OK otherwise you need a Vista OS disc and have to install a new version of windows.

MY ASUS F80Q WONT start up, it stuck in the Microsoft corporation

Hi. First option: For that symptoms try restart PC then before booting press F8 to see.(for windows xp professional and home edition. operating system )
safe mode safe mode with networking safe mode with command prompt enable booth logging enable VGA mode last known good configuration (your recent settings that worked) select this option by highlight then press enter key. if same problem? restart PC again then select safe mode wait for booting. already use that option not yet happened same problem. jimmyverdade_46.jpg

Second option:You need to reinstall fresh installation of operating system like windows xp,windows vista, windows 7 version etc.
Hope can help you.

Xp installation problem

the system doesn't accepts the lower version of windows if you are having the latest version than xp. for thi you must format the two OS softwares and first install lower version i.e., xp and then by dual booting you can also install vista or windows 7. then you can use both versions..

Try booting the system in safe mode (keep pressing f8 while booting till you get booting options to windows). This will enable you to log into Administrator account using password if it was assigned, otherwise it will simply let you in.

Have you tried a new power AC/DC convertor ? make sure you have the correct spec...see manual for power adaptor needed. Cost less if you can get a loan of one. other than this i would be looking into checking the power jack. hope this helps
