How can i removed the viruses on my pc?

Two of the more easy, reliable and free anti-virus software you can download are:
AVAST
ESET

Either one of them will always guard every aspect of your computer and online activity. You MUST be online for any anti-virus software to update it's engine and virus database regularly. Also, MALWAREBYTES is a free anti-malware that guards against other kinds of dangerous computer bugs, and works very well.
Once you've updated whatever anti-virus software you have, then run a complete scan of all your drives and put all viruses into quarantine or repair the files, or remove the nasties completely.

Usb device not recorgnized, one of the USB devices connected has malfunctioned and windows does not recorgnize it.

This is not due to usb device malfunction. Instead what I believe is that your windows system files are corrupted due to some virus infections. If you are already using an antivirus then please update the same and Scan your PC thoroughly.
Even if you running anti-virus software, it may be beneficial to scan your PC with another scanner to check for viruses. No anti-virus software is 100% perfect at catching everything. Here are a few good free online virus scanners that you can run to check your PC:

http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/home.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym&plfid= 23&pkj=RRJEDTKJBTVISBYWWYP

http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner

http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/solutions/activescan/

You should always run anti-virus software. There are several very good, free, anti-virus products available. One good source to read editor and user reviews, and safely download anti-virus software, is http://download.cnet.com -- search for free antivirus software. In addition to the reviews, you can see how many people are downloading the software, which is another good indicator of how popular it is.

But still you need to repair your Windows through the Windows CD to get this issue rectified.

Symantic anti virus is not getting instal

I'm not sure what is causing this issue but I can tell you that Symantic AV will do more harm than good. If you have window vista & have any web sense at all you don't need it. AV software is the biggest conspiracy in computers. They only cause problems & never fix them.

Not able to open regedit!

Hi, you do have a virus and or trojan.

Please download Malwarebytes anti-malware from http://www.malwarebytes.org When you download choose save to disk and rename the file to anything you like, The reason for the rename is many newer trojans can identify malware removal tools and prevent them from working as well as disabling you regedit and task manager.
Let anti-malware install and update and perform a quick scan.
When its finished have it remove what it can. If it asks to reboot do so.
When you have restarted your computer download Avast anti-virus
from avast.com again renaming the exe when saving to disk.
After install it will ask if you wish to schedule a boot time scan select yes. Then it will tell you to restart your system, choose restart later. Open avast from the start menu and select settings. Go to updating and update the virus signatures. Restart your computer when the update is complete.
You have to watch the screen as avast will alert you and ask for your preferred action on what it finds.

When completed your computer will boot normally into Windows run both scanners again in the same order.

Good luck

Downloading

Hi kja2 ,

2 anti-virus software can not co-exist on a computer system ; therefore you did the correct thing by uninstalling the old anti-virus first . However , there are lots of anti-viruses which do not get deleted (uninstalled) by going to Start > control panel > Add/Remove program. These anti-virus have to be removed by special "uninstallers" . I do not know which Anti-virus you have on your system , therefore I will provide you with the link of most common anti-virus uninstallers :

Symantec: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
McAfee: http://ts.mcafeehelp.com/displayDoc.asp?docID=408302&categoryId=246&lastCategoryLog=1&HotT
Trend Micro: http://esupport.trendmicro.com/support/viewxml.do?ContentID=EN-1033129

once the antivirus is removed through the uninstaller , then try installaing the new anti-virus which was giving you "files corrupt" message ... it will then work fine.
Also , . I would like to suggest you a very good anti-virus which you can download free of cost from internet :

Goodluck :-)

I wouldn't try to install Norton on a machine I suspected had a virus (or at all really). There is a Norton removal tool on the Symantec website that might be useful, but you still need to get rid of the Trojan. There are a lot of free online virus scanners that should do the job. If you can go online in safe mode that would be best, or you could disable everything on startup using MSConfig.
