Looking for the New battery

Right now I am in India, New Delhi and the battery of my laptop model M105-S3041 lost its life....only 10 min. work after full charging. I think to go for new original one, not any other local compatible.
Pl. suggest where I can get that in New Delhi - india.

thanks

There are really only two things to do. First, look into a replacement battery. A search on Google of "Satellite m105 battery" usually yields one or two sources of after-market batteries for around $50.

The second is only if your battery is a NiMH (nickel metal hydride) battery. In that case, you can create a power profile in the power or toshiba controls control panels where the computer does not go into hibernation or sleep. Go into the bios and make sure that the computer will not shut down on low power, and you may want to turn off the low power alarm. Then, making sure the computer is not plugged into the AC adapter, let it run until it actually shuts down from draining the battery. Then, don't leave it that way, get it back to a full charge. From then on, if you are working with the computer plugged into AC power from a wall socket, take the battery out.

A good source of info, though it's mainly about NiCd batteries, is: http://www.batteryuniversity.com/

Most likely you are going to need a motherboard, depending on the model, under the keyboard is the palm rest assembly...most of these have many opening in them that will allow fluid to get directly to the motherboard and they do not do well with liquid spilled on them when they are energized. Below is the link to the service guide for that model. I usually get my mobos on Ebay, but there are other sellers to grab one from.

The arrow dosnot move (M105-s3041)

Lol. This happened to me about 6 months ago, Toshiba has a program called 'TouchPad' Utillity. Which basically enables you to turn ON/OFF the mouse pad, It's shipped with the operating system, Unfortunately if you do turn it off, The mouse pad won't respond and there is no way you can turn it back on, It took my 12 hours to figure this out,It was frustrating, You will need a mouse, Preferably a USB one, plug this in and go to your icon bar in the bottom right hand corner of your desktop screen and there should be an icon saying 'TOUCHPAD', Right click it, Go up and turn it back on, Then you will be back in business:)

Where do I add memory to my Toshiba Satellite M105-S3041

There is a panel on the bottom of your laptop, with a Philips screw head andv the number "4" in a circle. Remove this screw, and the panel. Under this panel is the memory module(s), and they will take up to 1GB per module.

Toshiba Satellite M105-S3041 clock problem

Chances are your CMOS battery is dead, it can be replaced inexpensively if you do it yourself. After taking the laptop apart, locate the battery, it looks like a large watch battery. When you remove it, note the battery type and run to your nearest battery store for a replacement.

Bios password

If removing the ROM battery (for a period of time, perhaps about 24 hours) does not help (and many people report it does not), you may need to take it to an official Toshiba distributor who will help you get past the password after you confirm that you are the legitimate owner of the notebook.

There is a reason for putting these controls on computers: it makes life difficult for laptop thieves, as it should. I only wish more manufacturers would do this. In the future, it would be nice if manufacturers allowed owners to verify their ownership (which they previously registered during machine initial system startup) online through a form, then download a file to a USB thumb drive that could be inserted during boot to allow the option of resetting (or unsetting) the BIOS password.
