Question about E-Mu 1616M Sound Card
Have established two facts:
1. When I plug the 1616m card into the PCMCIA slot of my Toshiba Tecra A8, the system tray pops up a tooltip 'Multimedia Audio Device', and when I put the drivers CD in, I can progress with installation of the drivers
2. When I plug the 1616m card into the PCMCIA slot of a recently acquired Dell D600 running Win XP SP2, nothing pops up indicating detection of new hardware, and the drivers CD can't progress installation of the drivers past a certain point because it can't detect any hardware
As per this link, I looked for the PCMCIA details under control panel device manager of the Dell, and it says it is an O2Micro... cardbus
I don't have any other PCMCIA peripherals with which I can test
HI BRO PLEASE HELP ME OUT ..........
