Cannot boot up Windows XP except in Safe Mode

I do not know what corrupted the boot process on XP, but suddenly I can't boot up except in Safe Mode. I have tried restoring to an earlier time and booting to last known configuration with no luck either way. Any solution?

Sounds like adaware32 worm if and when you get it up and on-line go to microsoft and post your issue. A lot of XP updates are being hijacked and i suggest you download the Mozilla Firefox as a back up for surfing... Good luck, Sea Breeze

Can't uninstall Canon MX410 MP Drivers

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers in safe mode ?
You should print these instructions before continuing.
They will not be available after you shut your computer down in step 2.
Click Start and then click Shut Down.
In the drop-down list of the Shut Down Windows dialog box, click Restart, and then click OK.
As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, press F8.
On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press F8 when the boot menu appears.
Use the arrow keys to highlight the appropriate safe mode option, and then press ENTER.
If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot system, choose the installation that you need to access using the arrow keys, and then press ENTER.

If Windows launches before you can choose a safe mode, restart your computer and try again.

In safe mode, you have access to only basic files and drivers (mouse, monitor, keyboard, mass storage, base video, default system services, and no network connections). You can choose the Safe Mode with Networking option, which loads all of the above files and drivers and the essential services and drivers to start networking, or you can choose the Safe Mode with Command Prompt option, which is exactly the same as safe mode except that a command prompt is started instead of the graphical user interface. You can also choose Last Known Good Configuration, which starts your computer using the registry information that was saved at the last shutdown.

Safe mode helps you diagnose problems.
If a symptom does not reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and minimum device drivers as possible causes.
If a newly added device or a changed driver is causing problems, you can use safe mode to remove the device or reverse the change.

There are circumstances where safe mode will not be able to help you, such as when Windows system files that are required to start the system are corrupted or damaged.
In this case, the Recovery Console may help you.

NUM LOCK must be off before the arrow keys on the numeric keypad will function.

My Acer Aspire One D150 starts up to the "sorry for the inconvenience, start up in safe mode? w/ networking? w/ command prompt? or last good configuration. None work, sends me back to this page. ...

The system files for windows are corrupted which is why your not able to boot up into windows normally or thru safe mode.

You'll need to wipe out the drive and reinstall the operating system and reinstall the device drivers as well. If you have the system recovery cd and the operating system cd, you would use those.

When i start up laptop page says physical memory dumped pc wont start up keeps going back to star t up windows normally

This is not a printer problem but a computer problem.

You should try start up in safe mode by using the F8 key during boot up.

Once you are in safe mode you can try a "shut down and restart"
That alone just might solve your problem but from the error you are getting it could be a little more complex than that.

You may have to start in safe mode and run your antivirus and any other clean up / anti spyware programs that will run from safe mode and try again

It could even be the first signs of dying memory or hard drive but only a diagnostic check would show that as the case.
for memory or the one below for hard drives.

If you have recently installed any new applications then while in safe mode uninstall them and try that too.

There are many other things you could try but these are the more common causes.

I had the same issue!! I called up Canon Australia on 13 13 83.

The gentleman explained that even thought it was called Print Spooler, it was my laptop.

Start Menu > Run > services.msc

Long list of items > scroll down to Print Spooler

if it's not, click "Start" > then Apply

no need to reboot - try installing the drivers now.
