Question about Arris SURFboard SBG900 Wireless Router (DHSBG900)
I have an SiS191 Ethernet Controller and it will not connect using my Motorola SBG900 router. The wireless router works fine but the ethernet just says Acquiring Network Address... Can you help?
Setup your IP addresses correctly by checking available IP addies in router.
You will have to know your router addie and your available wireless addies (in router). For this you need to enter router configuration (read manual).
Open network properties, tcp/ip properties, check "use following ip addie and enter something like 192.168.1.5 depending on what your router is setup as available.
Enter same subnet as your router.
Enter DNS server addies from you ISP.
