You will have to buy the whole cone replacment kit for that part or get from bad speaker. Both can be purchased on ebay or other sites.

How can replace the speaker the bass sound is broken

Dear Rob,
Really Thankful for the detailed description for the Speaker Repair.
It really helped me a lot. I have a unusual situation here with me. I have dissected the whole console and found the outer band of the speaker has just come off....have attached photos to make it clear. does the outer speaker cone will make a difference or i will have to replace the speakers itself.....when i checked pressing the speaker down and played the distortion had gone....but while playing without holding the distortion would come back....Hope you can help me in this situation....Thanks in Advance..... 714812a0-935e-4f95-922e-50c6ba281b9c.jpg 36e62701-6370-491a-a317-a11c69cc9525.jpg

I have a pioneer car sterio that I need to remove how do i get it out of my dash? do i need a special tool

If it's an aftermarket stereo, it can be removed without taking the dash apart. It depends on how it was installed. Remove the thin plastic collar from around the radio, it may be easier to remove it with the faceplate detached. Look on the sides for thin metal tabs you can press then in and slide the radio out carefully with a flat screw driver.

Some installers will screw the radio into a dash assembly and the radio will not come out until you remove the dash. Usually cars that have a black plastic pocket either directly above or below the radio are screwed in and don't come out as easy.

If you remove the faceplate and collar, and see a thin metal cage around the radio it should slide out nice and easy with a flat screw driver or the "keys" that come with the radio when purchased new. These "keys" are just long skinny flat pieces of metal and are real cheap.

How to change the faceplate of a samsung s7330

  • Locate the small plastic tab on the top of your Samsung phone, located in the groove between the faceplate the main phone body. This tab is very tiny, only about one-sixteenth of an inch wide.

  • 2

    Press on the plastic tab with your fingernail.

  • 3

    Continue holding down the plastic piece while sliding the faceplate off the top of the phone. The faceplate only slides off from the top, so don't try to force it in a different direction.

  • 4

    Release the plastic tab.

  • 5

    Line up the new faceplate with the top portion of your phone then slide it downward until it latches into place. You'll typically hear a soft click when the faceplate is secure. When properly placed, the new faceplate should not be able to wiggle or slide unless you press down the plastic tab once again

    How to open the pure-fi anywhere 2 (logitech)so that i can try to repair it?

    I just got my Pure-Fi Anywhere (must be "1," because it doesn't say "2" on the box.) apart to both replace the battery (Ebay, $12-$15), and tighten the screw on the swivel leg.

    1) Don't use a screwdriver or anything steel - you'll bugar up the plastic if you do. I used the plastic "prying tools" that came with the battery replacement kit for my iPod. I...

    2) Wedged in pretty hard behind the faceplate that encircles all four speakers. This faceplate is about .080" thin. Once I saw that I could force these plastic tools in there, I carefully slid them around and loosened the whole plate. This plate is stuck on with, I guess, some kind of glue - but it remains sticky. I haven't reassembled anything yet, but I think it will go back on and stick again (careful where you set it).

    3) Removing this thin plate reveals a bunch of screws. You only need to remove the eight black (larger) screws (ignore the six silver (smaller, flathead) screws - they don't need to come out).

    4) Now for more prying (you got those eight larger screws out, right??) - I used the same plastic "prying tools." The best spot for this turned out to be: a) on the top; b) the side OPPOSITE of all the control buttons (power, volume, shuffle, etc.) -- halfway between the middle (iPod cradle) and the end (the opening is about 1/2" back from the front of the speakers. I forced the plastic tool in there, then twisted it and the two pieces seperated (with some effort)(you did remove those screws, right?). I worked the plastic prying tool around CAREFULLY, and eventually had complete success in seperating these two pieces. The wires from the battery are the only thing now connecting the two pieces together.

    If you went this far, you don't need me to tell you about the battery or how to tighten the feet. But I DO want to express my irritation at the "expert" at the Logitech forum site: He told a questioner that "you don't want to open up the speakers, it will reduce the acoustics if you do..." Again, if you've gone this far, you can see that nothing done here could have anymore adverse affect on the acoustics than opening your car's trunk would affect the car speakers in the back.

    I have a kicker 15 inch L7 solo baric and the rubber piece around the plastic part of the center of the sub has come apart from the outside black ring. how can i fix this?

    You can purchase a silicone sealant set, specifically for speakers. Its quite easy to use. Ebay has alot of them and they are relatively cheap.

    I need the basket gasket for 15'' l7

    The only way to get a new one is to contact Kicker directly, and see if they'll sell you one. Otherwise, you'll need to get another woofer. They only sell the replacement parts for the SoloX woofers. Sorry about that.

    How to run the speaker wires to connect to the subwoofer? and does a sub woofer burn if you do not put the right ammount of watts to it for example having an kicker l7 connected to a three houndred watt...

    i'm guessing you are having problems with the dual voice coil's so I will link you to the kicker wiring guide...

    http://kicker.com/sites/default/files/SoloBaricL72006.pdf that has the wiring options, you will need a pdf reader **** as adobe or foxit..

    Under powering your subs won't hurt them but running a 15 inch l7 at 300 watts is not going to let the sub perform at peak, I would go with a 800 to 1000 watt amp.

    15 inch l7 watt's are as follow

    rms = 1000
    peak = 2000
