The toggle button on the zoom is stuck on high magnification. It moves back and forth but will only go from 28 magnification to 34 magnification

This is most likely a defective zoom rocker switch assembly and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

Telescope is definitely assembled correct but fail to see any magnification of light thru tube with use of either lens. Very clear nite but little moonlight, does that matter? Seems we get no magnification...

Did you try this during the day time. Stars are always just points of light no matter what telescope you use.

Try for the moon and or Jupiter which is up in the sky right now after dark. It looks like a BRIGHT star.

I have a Meade EXT90. A black dot appears in the middle of every object I view (Jupiter, Mars, etc) with the exception of the moon. Any ideas on waht that might be? Thank you.

The black dot means you are way out of focus.

In an ETX90 Mars will always be a TINY disk, except under extreme magnification.

Jupiter is also a small disk but a little bit bigger.

Next time you try for Jupiter focus on the MOONS until they are tiny points of light like little stars.

Also certain eyepieces have this as an unwanted trait. Try another eyepiece -- start with the one with the largest number written on it which will be your LOWEST magnification.

Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 Magnification Issue

Normal 0 Go to Control Panel and click on the Mouse icon. Then the mouse properties will appear showing the mouse buttons. In the Left column is the button settings. The bottom one is the Right Button, which is set for Magnify. Whenever you hit the Right Side button the magnifier will turn on. To turn it off, hit the Right Side Button and off it goes. You can change any of the button settings by clicking on the drop down.
Hope this helps. Bud

Magnification function

With one hand, press down on the mouse to hold it VERY still.
Then, with the other hand, while not allowing the mouse to move,
click the button on the right-hand edge of the mouse.

Then, run the software that came on a CD-ROM with the mouse to "disable" that specific mouse-button.

My iphone had magnified the icons so that you can only see six at a time on the screen, how do i get that back to normal?

This might help....

ZoomMany iPhone applications let you zoom in and out specific elements. For example, you can double-tap or use the pinch gesture to expand webpage columns in Safari. Zoom is a special accessibility feature that lets you magnify the entire screen of any application you’re using to help you see what’s on the display.
Turn Zoom on or off: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility > Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.
NOTE: You cannot use VoiceOver and Zoom at the same time.
Zoom in or out: Double-tap the screen with three fingers. By default, the screen is magnified by 200 percent. If you manually change the magnification (by using the tap-and-drag gesture, described below), iPhone automatically returns to that magnification when you zoom in by double-tapping with three fingers.
Increase magnification: With three fingers, tap and drag toward the top of the screen (to increase magnification) or toward the bottom of the screen (to decrease magnification). The tap-and-drag gesture is similar to a double-tap, except you don’t lift your fingers on the second tap—instead, drag your fingers on the screen. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger.
For best results using three-finger gestures, relax and let your fingers touch the screen naturally.
Move around the screen: When zoomed in, drag or flick the screen with three fingers. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger so that you can see more of the screen. Hold a single finger near the edge of the display to pan to that side of the screen image. Move your finger closer to the edge to pan more quickly. When you open a new screen, Zoom always goes to the top-middle of the screen.
