How do i set up the fax to print a confirmation sheet when it sends something?

Try this:

Press the Setup button (it might be the sign of a monkey range)
  1. Press the Down arrow (c00844971.gif ) to highlight Print Report , then press OK .
  2. Press the Down arrow (c00844971.gif ) to highlight Fax Confirmation , then press OK .
  3. Press the Down arrow (c00844971.gif ) to select one of the following options in the table below, then press OK
On Fax Send Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send. On Fax Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you receive. Send and Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send and receive. Off Does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and receive faxes successfully. This is the default setting.

Select the one you would like to choose ;

Wont print... error

It seems to be an issue with the printer drivers on the computer,You need to check for
any queued documents,if they are there,if yes, delete them,if not go ahead and
unintsall the printer drivers from the control panel>printers and faxes and then
restart your computer and then try a plug and play if its a USB printer or if its a
network printer check for the ip address on the printer as well as the computer, they
shuld be the same on both or it will not work, this should resolve your concern.

Unable to add a functioning (second) printer, for greyscale.

Clicked on Start/Control Panel/PrinterI. Clicked Add a printer. Obtained (Copy 1) of my HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printer. Right clicked on (Copy 1)/properties. Opened Ports tab. Saw comment "Print to the following Ports. Documents will print to the first free checked port." A listed USB Virtual printer port, showed three printers -- my first printer, my copy 1 (& my fax printer) -- was unchecked. I placed a checkmark in this Port box. Both the original printer, and my copy 1 printer are printing just fine. *I have not checked to verify that my fax is functional.
I did rename the original "color". I renamed Copy 1 as "grayscale", and --under printer preferences, checked, under "color options", to print in greyscale.

Wont send fax

Hi,

Error 350: Under rare conditions incompatibility between the two machines may cause the remote machine to simply abandon the call.

Try these steps...

1. Press setup, then go to TOOLS.
2. press okay on TOOLS, then look for RUN FAX TEST. then press okay.
3. It will print a fax test page. Check if everything passed.
4. If it passed everything, try to press setup again, then go to ADVANCE FAX SETUP.
5. Scroll, down and look for ECM (Error correction mode), then press okay
6. Under ECM you will have to options "ON or OFF" try to choose OFF then press OKAY.
7. Now, try sending a fax.

Please let me know if the steps that i gave resolve your issue or not. So that i can still go ahead and give you another possible solution.

Thank you so much.
