Well I know that my phone does the same thing whith hour glass but never that long. I would take it into your provider and ask them. If you have T-mobile and you have had it for less than a year, they will give you a new phone.

Many smart phones will have problems if you remove the battery without powering them off first. The easy fix for the state your phone is in is to run your battery down. If you get it to the point where it will auto power of anyway, and leave it like that for at least an hour with the battery in, it should reset the power management.
hi, there are two kinds of white screen in n70 , the first one is because of damage LCD (glass screen) , defective display driver (small chips that makes the display works) and the other one is corrupted software...in damage lcd the phone will detected by computer because its software is still working...so , the problem of your N70 im sure is the second one , corrupted software....your phone needs to reprogram,and need to go to a nokia care center to fix you problem... i hope ,i will help you ,thanks for trusting fixya...
Mine was doing this for a while, However, i cleared up space on it by deleting apps, and fonts, and messages, etc. that i did not want on the phone and it discontinued this problem and also responded much faster. Its worth a try.
