Model: 417.43042200 I seem to be having a problem with this washer. The washer technically "works" lights come on ect timer works but there is no spin no movement what so ever. we have checked the timer, motor, and the belt. Everything seems to be in working condition. What could be the problem?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and understanding ^__^

Sounds like a clogged water pump. I have Kenmore model 417.44102300 (by Frigidaire) and in searching for solutions to my loud thumping during spin, have come across online threads that discuss the water pump being clogged [with sludge]. You can google my model and "water pump" and you should see some forum solutions show up. It seemed like an easily fixable problem, even if you are not technically adept.
Every one of these front loaders come with a technical data sheet inside. You need to remove the lower toe panel directly below the door to access it. The screws are located under the bottom front edge of the washer. You may have to prop the two front feet of the washer up to access them (a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off. The tech sheet will either be located directly behind the panel, or affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls in an envelope. The tech sheet includes all troubleshooting data, error code definitions, diagnostics procedures, test points and wiring diagrams. I hope this helps you.

The drum is loose. I pulled the back panel off and the nut is tight behind the drum? could it be the bearing? do I need to change the whole drum? is this a common problem or was this do to abuse.
