Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
Attempted to install wireless router so we could add another computer; it asked for changes to network name and security password the install was incorrect; I now wish to share old router and new wireless one so that my phone will still work; second attempt failed because I was prompted to revert back to origninal passwords; no way to retrieve these
What can I do?
Look at the back of the wireless router. There is a reset button. Take a ball point pen and push that little button that says reset and hold it (while the unit is on and plugged in). Hold the button for about 15-20 sec. Then let go of the button and you should be able to log back in. Your IP address to access your router should be: 192.168.1.1 Your default password and username will be (Username: admin Password: admin)
Any questions, just ask!!!
