Inside the drum one of the tumblers is loose how do you tighten it up?

Hello,
You can tighten those baffles by getting to outside of drum to thighten the screws that hold them to drum. to get access to outside of drum;
Remove screws from door hinge

remove screws from other side of inside door as they are exaclty opposite the ones for hinges

pull off from panel by putting putty knife/screwdriver in seam between front panel/cabinet just below the sloped part of the top and pop off front panel

in the upper corners of the top/front panel is a clip that looks likea inverted "7" or if ya will a up side down "L" remove screws from the clips and remove the clip

now ya can raise top to get to outside of drum

rotate drum by hand in CLOCKWISE direction to turn drum so ya can get to each baffle

Thanks for using FixYa.com,

Two of the three internal fins in the dryer came loose and detached from the inside of the dryer. Now the dryer is losing heat where the installation holes are located. Can I purchase new fins and install...

if you open the dryer by removing the top and front panel/door assy you can look at the bottom of the unit and find the old screws, buy the new fins, and re attach them if the holes in the dryer where the screws attach to the fins are too large for the screws use some washers

Paddle inside dryer came loose how do we tighten

You have to open up the dryer to expose the clothes drum. Most paddles are fastened by two or three 1/4" sheet metal screws. Look for your lost screw in the dryer or replace it with the same. Use a drop or two of lock-tite to keep screws in place. Good time also to clean out all lint which can become a fire hazard, replace the drum belt and redo all of the screws.

Dryer making a crazy noise

Hello, shhllc,

The problem is with one of three pulleys. There are two "drum rollers" on which the dryer drum rests, and then there is a third pulley which keeps tension on the belt that connects the motor to the drum. Either of these can get squeaky when the grease dries out, or when they wear from prolonged use.To open this dryer, remove the front panel (either 4 screws inside the hinge mounts on both sides, or 2 screws along the bottom of the front panel) and check with a flashlight to find these three pulleys. With the dryer unplugged, jiggle each one... if it is loose from its axle, it needs replacing, otherwise, just lube all three pulleys by removing the retainer clip and wheel, greasing the steel axle with silicone (never use oil!), then replace the wheel and clip. You should enjoy blissful silence from there.

Older washer/ dryer with no power

Check to see if power cord is loose at connection inside dryer. ONLY after UNPLUGING! Held on by three screws inside.
