I try installing the latest version of the adobe flash player, when it is done it says it sucessfully downloadeds it but when i try watching videos on youtube or doing something else that involves the adobe flash player it says that either my java script is turned off or i don't have the latest version of the adobe flash player, I even tried doing what the trouble shooting supporters say to do and it still won't work
If you are using win 7 IE 9 go in too tools on IE and make sure the check mark is not there beside active x Filtering if it is click on it thats it. took me six weeks to figure it out and hours and hours of web time. Now it works fine.it installed and plays. go figure so simple.

The first link is for Adobe. This is their latest version of Flash Player. To install properly, you have to uninstall all prior versions of the player through device manager, or the likes, first then, install new software, otherwise it won't work right When yo go to install, a window may pop up telling you whats interfereing with download,ie, Internet Explorer, mail service, etc., that you will have to exit before download will work. You will need latest version of Java for your veiwing also(second link). It insatlls pretty much the same way. Remove prior versions first. If you have Java already, you can update through device manager by clicking on Java icon and clicking on update tab.
what does windows xp prompt? i suggest that you try installing with active x flash player and a flash player for the web. use the latest version. Adobe Flash player is the recommended flash player for windows xp platform. pm me if you still have problems. Thank you.
